Boko Haram terrorists launched another attack in Maiduguri

- There are concerns that the terrorists might have infiltrated the state capital. A Boko Haram terrorist has been shot dead by security operatives in Maiduguri, the Borno state capital. This is the second attack in less than 24-hours that a first attack was launched.

According to a twitter user, Dan Borno,https://twitter.com/DanBorno  the attack was carried out around High Court Jiddari Polo on Thursday, June 8, but the  etrator was killed. This attack is coming just a day after a similar attack was carried out in state capital raising concern that the terrorists might have infiltrated the city. 

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had earlier reported that gunshots were fired in all directions around Jiddari Polo in Maiduguri, as residents scamper for safety during an attack on Wednesday night. Residents in the Jidari and Polo areas of Maiduguri began to flee the city after hearing gunfire, a situation which caused confusion and a mass exodus of residents throughout the city. The reports also claimed the situation was still unstable as at the time of this report. A new report by Sahara Reporters indicated that the terrorist struck in the same place as  at Wednesday night.
